Since 2008, SOCAP has created a platform where social impact leaders can connect and present their ideas to a global audience. Their annual flagship event in San Francisco is the largest conference for impact investors and social entrepreneurs and has drawn more than 10.000 people. Their mission is to create a platform where investors willing to put money into enterprises focused foremost on social return can meet the world’s most innovative entrepreneurs. SOCAP has supported more than 1.000 entrepreneurs through scholarships, mentoring and training. Finally, SOCAP has expanded their reach to include industry-specific events like “SHARE: Catalyzing the Sharing Economy,” and “SOCAP Heath: Creating the Market the Values Health.”
