ECONOMY - GENDER

by THE OLBIOS TEAM

Young Women Social Entrepreneurs (YWSE) is a values-based learning community to support the next generation of women change-makers. YWSE is a global organization with chapters in Afghanistan, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, and the U.S. (Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Portland, San Francisco, Washington DC). The top benefits cited by YWSE members are : access to a new network of women who lead with desire and passion, sharing of knowledge and expertise to develop with authenticity and integrity, career advancement that is aligned with values.

Many of young women social entrepreneurs have vision and ambition, but are challenged by lack of support from mentors and peers, lack of access to resources, and lack of training in the skills necessary to manage high impact projects and organizations. YWSE provides an environment in which young women social entrepreneurs’ visions and goals are affirmed, supported, promoted, and propelled. Over ten thousand women are currently participating in the network.
