PAOLA DE ROHAN

OLBIOS DIRECTOR FRANCE

Paola de Rohan-Csermak was born in the United States of America into a family of French, Hungarian, Czech and German origin. She lived in Canada and France where she studied journalism at the Ecole Supérieure de Journalisme de Paris (ESJ Paris), before graduating from La Sorbonne in Paris with two master’s degrees, one in Classics and the other in Didactics of French as a foreign language. Working for the French national education system, she taught French, Latin and ancient Greek for seventeen years, mainly in high schools for disadvantaged teenagers whose background had exposed them to harsh social and economic conditions, violence or handicap. She devised and implemented several pedagogical projects for these students during school holidays in partnership with different organizations, firms and ministries. In parallel, she also accomplished volunteer work for associations and NGOs such as Le Samu social, Ecole à l’Hôpital and Maison de Sagesse, until the birth of her two children. In October 2017, she was appointed director of Olbios France.
