OLBIOS CORRESPONDENT PALESTINIAN TERRITORY
Mai Odeh was born in the Dheisheh refugee camp near Bethlehem. Her parents were forced to escape from their origin village during the war 1948 and ended up in the Camp. She Obtained her BA in Business Administration from Bethlehem University and a joint Master of Arts degree in Pilgrimage and Tourism, from Bethlehem University, Joensuu University (Finland) and London Metropolitan University. She has accumulated extensive knowledge and experience in culture and development, as she served as a Programme coordinator for culture desk at UNESCO Ramallah Office. She also served as an event department officer for Al-Quds the capital of Arab Culture 2009, and in other local institutions. She believes that with passion and convictions the world will become better. She welcomes the opportunities to work on projects that present her with new challenges toward development.
