Una Red para combatir la brecha digital<\/h2>\n

En mayo de 2009, cuatro j\u00f3venes emprendedores, Aleph Molinari, Mo\u00eds Cherem, Jorge Camil y Ra\u00fal Maldonado, crearon la Red de Innovaci\u00f3n y Aprendizaje (RIA) tratando de dar respuesta a tres grandes problemas educativos en M\u00e9xico: enfrentar la brecha digital (77.4 millones de mexicanos no tienen acceso a computadoras o a internet, casi el 70% de la ciudadan\u00eda); combatir el rezago y la deserci\u00f3n escolar (75% de los ni\u00f1os mexicanos en la primaria no terminan el bachillerato), y solucionar la falta de infraestructura educativa en comunidades vulnerables, lo cual contribuye a problemas de desempleo, pobreza y seguridad en estas zonas. RIA crea oportunidades de inclusi\u00f3n digital en sitios culturalmente marginados, funcionando como complemento educativo en las escuelas locales. Construye centros comunitarios educativos que utilizan arquitectura ecol\u00f3gica, sustentable y modular para crear espacios did\u00e1cticos con computadoras, conexi\u00f3n a Internet y espacios recreativos en zonas de escasos recursos, donde se ofrecen cursos educativos de todos los niveles a trav\u00e9s de una plataforma tecnol\u00f3gica propia llamada Mako\u00ae. Junto con el apoyo de facilitadores y promotores en l\u00ednea, Mako analiza los patrones de aprendizaje de cada alumno y le brinda contenido personalizado que responda a sus necesidades particulares en cualquier \u00e1rea. Sus programas abarcan todas las l\u00edneas de aprendizaje, desde computaci\u00f3n a idiomas, c\u00f3mo encontrar trabajo a trav\u00e9s de Internet, capsulas educativas de BrainPop, matem\u00e1ticas y ciencia para ni\u00f1os, fotograf\u00eda, finanzas personales y m\u00e1s. Los cursos est\u00e1n dirigidos a ni\u00f1os, j\u00f3venes y adultos en edad productiva, entre ellos maestros, trabajadores, microempresarios, desempleados, amas de casa y discapacitados, otorg\u00e1ndoles herramientas espec\u00edficas para su \u00f3ptimo desarrollo. RIA comenz\u00f3 con un apoyo inicial por parte del Consejo Mexiquense de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda (COMEyT), que permiti\u00f3 la construcci\u00f3n de los primeros 10 centros educativos.
