Rodr\u00edguez-Ferrara y las comunidades autofinanciadas<\/h2>\n

Jean Claude Rodr\u00edguez-Ferrara, economista, doctor en Microfinanzas y emprendedor avalado por ASHOKA, ha sido el pionero en la banca \u00e9tica que le da oportunidades econ\u00f3micas a los m\u00e1s vulnerables. En el 2004 inici\u00f3 el proyecto de las Comunidades Autofinanciadas (CAF), comunidades en las que los socios ahorran y se prestan microcr\u00e9ditos que sirven para cubrir necesidades econ\u00f3micas peque\u00f1as, uniendo a grupos de escasos recursos en una organizaci\u00f3n en la que las personas son socios y clientes al mismo tiempo. El proyecto se basa en experiencias de Comunidades Autofinanciadas en Venezuela y Colombia, de ah\u00ed que los inmigrantes procedentes de estos pa\u00edses y otros cercanos sean los primeros en ponerlo en marcha. Hoy la Asociaci\u00f3n de Comunidades Autofinanciadas ACAF consiste en peque\u00f1os grupos de entre 10-30 personas, normalmente inmigrantes que se conocen entre si, y aportan peque\u00f1as cantidades de dinero que les permiten convertirse en propietarios de la CAF y dejar de depender su supervivencia de las prestaciones sociales. Adem\u00e1s de ser un programa de educaci\u00f3n financiera learning by doing, las CAF permiten crear una red de apoyo entre los socios, fomentan la confianza y el liderazgo y facilitan el acceso a otros servicios como seguros, vivienda, etc\u2026 Cada comunidad tiene sus estatutos, establece los porcentajes que se pueden pedir, los plazos de devoluci\u00f3n, los intereses o las penalizaciones por retraso. Adem\u00e1s ACAF ha promovido la plataforma online Winkomun con el objetivo de juntar a comunidades autofinanciadas de todo el mundo. Entre otras aplicaciones, permite a personas de cualquier lugar del mundo aprender y poner en pr\u00e1ctica la metodolog\u00eda de las comunidades autofinanciadas, simplificar al m\u00e1ximo todas las operaciones relacionadas con la metodolog\u00eda y constituir una red social mundial de personas que ahorran y se ayudan mutuamente mediante ella. Rodr\u00edguez-Ferrara es autor del libro Econom\u00eda mundial y desarrollo y coautor de La otra microfinanza y por esta innovadora iniciativa recibi\u00f3 en el 2007 el premio al mejor joven emprendedor del mundo del CYEA.
