Parte del proceso del diagn\u00f3stico consiste en encontrar el n\u00famero de par\u00e1sitos que hay en una muestra de sangre a trav\u00e9s del microscopio. Este proceso es largo y muy costoso. Por otro lado, cada d\u00eda m\u00e1s gente, en todo el mundo, juega a videojuegos tanto usando ordenadores como dispositivos m\u00f3viles. Miguel Luengo Oroz ha unido estas dos realidades para transformar el campo del an\u00e1lisis de im\u00e1genes m\u00e9dicas. Nos propone contribuir a un diagn\u00f3stico colectivo a trav\u00e9s de un sencillo juego online accesible desde ordenadores y dispositivos m\u00f3viles. Es un m\u00e9todo r\u00e1pido, de bajo coste y que se puede aplicar al diagn\u00f3stico de otras enfermedades. Con MalariaSpot cualquier persona puede conectada a internet puede contribuir \u00a0a diagnosticar malaria. A trav\u00e9s de un juego se puede aprender r\u00e1pidamente a identificar par\u00e1sitos.
