La Fundaci\u00f3n Alma.<\/h2>\n

Fundaci\u00f3n Alma es una organizaci\u00f3n social sin fines de lucro que, desde 1980, pone en funcionamiento al Tren Hospital para Chicos, un hospital rodante que llega al norte argentino para brindar atenci\u00f3n primaria -incluyendo servicios m\u00e9dicos, odontol\u00f3gicos y medicamentos- y educaci\u00f3n para la salud, en forma gratuita, a chicos y adolescentes de 0 a 18 a\u00f1os que no cuentan con servicios permanentes de salud. Su Consejo de Administraci\u00f3n est\u00e1 \u00edntegramente conformado por miembros voluntarios. <\/p>\n

Asimismo, cada equipo de profesionales de la salud que se conforma para cada viaje es tambi\u00e9n integrado por voluntarios. Pediatras, m\u00e9dicos generalistas, odont\u00f3logos, radi\u00f3logos, trabajadores sociales, enfermeros y bioqu\u00edmicos se suman a esta experiencia desde distintos puntos del pa\u00eds, ofreciendo su tiempo y saberes profesionales al servicio de quienes m\u00e1s lo necesitan. Un Coordinador de Viaje, voluntario representante de la Fundaci\u00f3n, oficia de referente y de gu\u00eda para el nuevo equipo. Por otro lado, se suma al recorrido un equipo voluntario de tareas generales. Cada viaje tiene una duraci\u00f3n aproximada de 15 d\u00edas. <\/p>\n

El Tren Hospital para Chicos Alma visita una vez por a\u00f1o cada uno de sus destinos, de manera de asegurar la continuidad en la atenci\u00f3n y el seguimiento de cada paciente. Por otro lado, desarrolla una importante tarea de educaci\u00f3n para la salud, articulando su labor con las escuelas locales y favoreciendo, as\u00ed, la sustentabilidad de su acci\u00f3n. <\/p>\n
