La Fondation Abb\u00e9-Pierre pour le logement des d\u00e9favoris\u00e9s est une fondation membre d’Emma\u00fcs. L\u2019abb\u00e9 Pierre en \u00e9tait le pr\u00e9sident d\u2019honneur jusqu’\u00e0 sa disparition. Pour la Fondation Abb\u00e9-Pierre, avoir un toit est un besoin vital, au m\u00eame titre que la nourriture, la sant\u00e9 et l\u2019emploi. Elle s’est donc fix\u00e9 pour objectif d’agir \u00ab\u00a0pour que les plus d\u00e9favoris\u00e9s trouvent \u00e0 se loger dignement et durablement, quels que soient le montant de leurs ressources et leur situation sociale\u00a0\u00bb. La Fondation \u0153uvre pour une plus grande prise en compte des besoins en logement des personnes aux ressources les plus faibles et apporte un important soutien financier \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation de logements tr\u00e8s sociaux depuis 2005, au travers de trois programmes cons\u00e9cutifs, \u00ab\u00a01500 logements tr\u00e8s sociaux\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a02000 toits pour 2000 familles\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Toits d’abord\u00a0\u00bb, lanc\u00e9 en 2012. La crise du logement, excluant les plus pauvres et les plus pr\u00e9caires, touche d\u00e9sormais les couches populaires ainsi que les classes moyennes. Postes avanc\u00e9s de lutte contre le mal-logement, les Agences r\u00e9gionales de la Fondation soutiennent les acteurs locaux qui cherchent \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper une offre de logements accessibles au plus grand nombre.
