Plan Belgique est une ONG ind\u00e9pendante, membre de la Coalition internationale Plan. Ils travaillent dans 69 pays dont 51 parmi les plus pauvres d\u2019Afrique, d\u2019Asie et d\u2019Am\u00e9rique latine. Depuis 1983, ils agissent avec et pour les enfants les plus vuln\u00e9rables du Sud et leur communaut\u00e9 afin de lutter contre la pauvret\u00e9, l\u2019injustice et les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s. En Belgique, ils sensibilisent le grand public, r\u00e9coltent des fonds et mettent les droits de l\u2019enfant au coeur de l\u2019agenda des \u00e9coles, des m\u00e9dias et des politiques. Ils consid\u00e8rent que leur travail de plaidoyer est n\u00e9cessaire, car si certaines prises de d\u00e9cisions politiques cadrent parfaitement dans une logique \u00e9conomique, elles tiennent parfois trop peu compte des droits de l\u2019enfant. Ils\u00a0incitent\u00a0les responsables politiques \u00e0 donner concr\u00e8tement suite aux accords internationaux prot\u00e9geant les enfants, entre autres la Convention internationale relative aux droits de l\u2019enfant (CIDE). Ces initiatives de plaidoyer s’ancrent dans\u00a0leur collaboration \u00e9troite avec les enfants, les communaut\u00e9s et les partenaires locaux. Plan Belgique fait r\u00e9sonner\u00a0leurs exigences aupr\u00e8s des instances ad\u00e9quates. En premi\u00e8re lieu, ils ciblent les parlementaires belges, les services publics f\u00e9d\u00e9raux et\u00a0les pouvoirs publics, mais aussi les repr\u00e9sentants de l\u2019Union Europ\u00e9enne, des Nations Unies ou de la Banque Mondiale.
