Fond\u00e9e il y a plus de 175 ans, la maison Herm\u00e8s a cr\u00e9e sa propre Fondation d\u2019entreprise en 2008. Les projets soutenus sont essentiels pour la maison car ils sont en r\u00e9sonance avec leur univers : la valorisation des savoir-faire artisanaux et le soutien \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation, l\u2019implication dans le domaine de l\u2018\u00e9ducation et celui de l\u2019environnement. La Fondation d’entreprise Herm\u00e8s accompagne celles et ceux qui apprennent, ma\u00eetrisent, transmettent et explorent les gestes cr\u00e9ateurs. Guid\u00e9e par le fil rouge des savoir-faire et par la recherche de nouveaux usages, la Fondation agit suivant deux axes compl\u00e9mentaires : savoir-faire et cr\u00e9ation, savoir-faire et transmission. La Fondation d\u00e9veloppe ses propres programmes : expositions et r\u00e9sidences d’artistes pour les arts plastiques, New Settings pour les arts de la sc\u00e8ne, Prix \u00c9mile Herm\u00e8s pour le design, Acad\u00e9mie des\u00a0savoir-faire,\u00a0appels \u00e0 projets pour la biodiversit\u00e9. Elle soutient \u00e9galement, sur les cinq continents, des organismes qui agissent dans ces diff\u00e9rents domaines.
