Sans avoir \u00e0 faire ni pr\u00e9paration ni pr\u00e9l\u00e8vement, la malignit\u00e9 d\u2019une tumeur est \u00e9valu\u00e9e en temps r\u00e9el gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une analyse in situ des cellules suspectes. Le projet, en phase de mise au point, de d\u00e9veloppement et d\u2019industrialisation, tend \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper cette solution pour une meilleure fiabilit\u00e9, rapidit\u00e9 et une r\u00e9duction des co\u00fbts du diagnostic des tumeurs cutan\u00e9es.  Les cancers de la peau sont en effet ceux dont les cas ont le plus augment\u00e9 depuis vingt ans. Le m\u00e9lanome malin en est la forme la plus grave puisque la cellule canc\u00e9reuse est directement en contact avec la circulation sanguine qui irrigue l\u2019\u00e9piderme. Ce type de cancer ne pouvait jusqu\u2019ici \u00eatre diagnostiqu\u00e9 qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019issue d\u2019un long et co\u00fbteux examen dont les pr\u00e9l\u00e8vements risquent d\u2019engendrer des cicatrices visibles pour le patient. C\u2019est pour r\u00e9duire les temps d\u2019attente et les d\u00e9sagr\u00e9ments li\u00e9s aux biopsies traditionnelles que l\u2019\u00e9quipe de DAMAE Medical a imagin\u00e9 un syst\u00e8me d\u2019imagerie m\u00e9dicale non-invasif.  Le dermatologue pourra d\u00e9sormais s\u2019appuyer sur une biopsie optique afin de d\u00e9tecter en profondeur et par simple contact avec la peau la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019\u00e9ventuelles cellules canc\u00e9reuses. Une imagerie deux fois plus pr\u00e9cise que les technologies actuelles qui facilitera aussi les interventions m\u00e9dicales en cas de tumeur.
