Ornella Nana is a young activist from Ireland, currently enrolled in a Master’s programme (International Relations), at the University of Dublin. At the age of 23, she is the founder, and Global Director of the movement ‘International Youth Empowerment’. Seeking to inspire other youths to make a first step towards self-consciousness, generating a positive change from within and extending to their communities.
As a public speaker and youth advocate- She voluntarily facilitate series of workshops in various organisations, second and third level institutions, as well as reaching out to Government officials and policy makers to push forth discussions for a more sustainable and peaceful world.
Her upbringing in different parts of the world (Cameroon, Norway, Ireland), have allowed her to acquire a very strong multicultural spirit that ease her adaptability in communicating and understanding of people and various culture. Ornella was recently appointed on the board of directors, to represent the voice of young people at ECO-UNESCO in Ireland. She is a ONE youth ambassador, and served as the Irish youth delegate to the 25th EEAC- chosen as a spokesperson to represent the voice of international youth delegate at the assembly.
Finally, Ornella says that she is passionate about learning and discovering new cultures, people and communities. She firmly believes that together we can make a difference in the world.
