Esta demografia \u00e9 desproporcionalmente atingida pelo desemprego, sendo respons\u00e1vel por metade do total da popula\u00e7\u00e3o desempregada. O problema \u00e9 especialmente grave entre os jovens de circunst\u00e2ncias mais pobres que possuem ainda menos acesso \u00e0 educa\u00e7\u00e3o p\u00fablica b\u00e1sica e raramente pode frequentar uma universidade de qualidade. Os poucos que conseguem garantir um emprego acabam trabalhando em p\u00e9ssimas condi\u00e7\u00f5es, com poucas oportunidades de crescimento e seguran\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">David Hertz criou <em>Gastromotiva<\/em> em 2006, porque ele estava convencido de que as artes culin\u00e1rias, um campo que tinha desempenhado um papel central na sua pr\u00f3pria vida pessoal e profissional, poderia oferecer oportunidades de emprego e gerar transforma\u00e7\u00f5es nos jovens de comunidades de baixa renda. Ele encoraja os jovens a experimentar novas t\u00e9cnicas, explorar a sua criatividade, e se envolver com as suas fam\u00edlias e comunidades. O Curso de Culin\u00e1ria Profissional <em>Gastromotiva<\/em> \u00e9 a base sobre a qual o programa \u00e9 constru\u00eddo. A <em>Gastromotiva<\/em> \u00e9 a primeira organiza\u00e7\u00e3o do Brasil a inspirar e promover transforma\u00e7\u00e3o e inclus\u00e3o social por meio da gastronomia.
