DANIEL QUINTERO

OLBIOS CORREPONDENT COLOMBIA & BRASIL

Daniel Quintero started his connection with the third sector and social innovation first as a volunteer and then professionally. These opportunities allowed him to work with various types of stakeholders, entrepreneurs and other actors in Civil Society and Public Power, through secretaries and other professionals. He joined the social sector initially as director of programs and projects in the office of Techo-Colombia and then as national director of Community management in the office of Sao Paulo in Brazil’s TETO. Over the past year, Daniel worked with a focus on poverty reduction at TETO/TECHO, and currently in the Impact Hub Sao Paulo, focusing on education and entrepreneurship with young people from the outskirts. After 10 years of living in the reality of the precarious communities of Latin America, he is convinced that building a more sustainable and fair society should be the focus of everyone’s efforts. The long-awaited development of our countries will only happen through opportunities for all and access to information.
