Diogo Gonçalves works with private and public institutions, helping them to apply behavioral science to improve their social and economic outcomes. He is the Founder of There are Free Lunches Lectures, and Nudge Portugal initiatives. In parallel, he develops academic research in the areas of consumer behavior and behavioral economics. He writes regularly for Psychology Today, Huffington Post (both U.S.), Behavioraleconomics.com (U.S.), economiacomportamental.org (Brazil). He has a Bsc. in Social Psychology from the Applied Psychology Insitute – ISPA (PT), Msc. in Data Analysis applied to Consumer Behaviour from NOVA IMS (PT), and was a PhD student at TIBER – Tilburg Institute for Behavioral Economics Research at Tilburg University (NL). He will teach at the University (Universidade Europeia), starting in April.
