Piotr Pietrzak is Editor in Chief of the In Statu Nascendi Journal of Political Philosophy and International Relations. He is also a Ph.D. Candidate at the “St. Kliment Ohridiski” Sofia University in Bulgaria. He holds an MA in International Politics & International Relations from the University of Manchester, UK, and an MA in Politics from the University of Warmia and Mazury, Poland. Piotr was also awarded an Erasmus Scholarship from the University of Cyprus in 2007. He specializes in the politics of the Middle East, the Islamic world, with a focus on the theory of international relations, geopolitics, conflict resolution strategies, and international law, especially matters related to WWI and WWII, and Cold War superpower rivalry. Piotr is also interested in conflicts in Cyprus, Chechnya, the Former Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Georgia, Libya, Syria, Mali, Yemen, and Ukraine.
