ALEKSANDAR TASHKOVSKI

OLBIOS CORRESPONDENT NORTH MACEDONIA

Aleksandar Tashkovski was born in Bitola, R. Macedonia and is studying International Law and relations and Law of the European Union at the Faculty of Law of the “Iustinianus Primus”, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. He has been working as an academic researcher, journalist, demonstrator for First Aid and Law intern. He is also part of many social initiatives as well as the student movement- the Students Plenum. He has been actively involved in many non- government organizations from Macedonia and abroad since elementary school. Aleksandar has taken part in many conferences, seminars, training sessions and was part of the drafting of International Resolution against corruption under the patronage of H.H. Dalai Lama on the International Student Festival in Trondheim, Norway. He is also a licensed PIER Educator and has organized dozens of trainings for peers. Aleksandar has also been a Red Cross volunteer for 11 years, is currently Honorable Consul of the Macedonian Red Cross for the US and a participant in the pro bono legal clinic at his Faculty.
