Since September 2013 Flora Donsimoni is Porticus Regional Director for France. In this position she is leading the development of the French desk and its strategy in Education and Social Justice portfolios. Porticus is the international organisation that manages and develops the philanthropic programmes of charitable entities established by Brenninkmeijer family entrepreneurs. Flora holds a BA in Philosophy, an MA in Political Sciences (Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris) and an MA in Business (ESCP Business School). At the start of her career she worked with CCFD (Catholic Committee against Hunger and for Development), after which she joined Ernst & Young for several years as senior auditor where she performed audit missions for non-profit entities and midcaps enterprises. After having worked for the AXA Research Fund, she was in charge of setting-up an interdisciplinary research centre in life sciences and higher education for the Bettencourt-Schueller Foundation. She then worked for the Aga Khan Foundation in the United Kingdom, where she was involved in education and health programmes notably through the expansion of the Aga Khan University in East-Africa.
