Tariq Hayat is serving as Manager “Social Cohesion and Resilience Program for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” (being funded by UNICEF). He is responsible for partnership building and effective implementation of the Program, within the agreed timelines. He is also responsible for putting in place internal controls, staff supervision, motivation and liaison with government agencies and other stake holders. Mr. Tariq Hayat is one of the prominent humanitarian practitioners of KP/FATA, having exclusive practical understanding of working directly with gross-root communities as well as with the policy makers and senior government officials. He is equipped with superlative oratory and writing skills. Effective Project Planning, Management, Content Writing, DRM, Advocacy, Monitoring and Evaluation, are the key areas of his expertise. Mr. Tariq is the author of many award winning proposals, for different projects related to Education, Emergency Response, DRR, Social Cohesion and Democracy.
During the past 10 years of his progressive career, Mr. Tariq Hayat held leading and strategic level positions in various multi-sectoral development and humanitarian initiatives, being funded by UNICEF, UNESCO, USIP, Save The Children, International Art of Living, Action Aid, Asia Foundation, GHRD and British Council. As Program Manager, he has successfully implemented the following initiatives in KP/FATA and Baluchistan: Peace Building, Education and Advocacy Program (Social Cohesion and Resilience through Education) KP (UNICEF 2013-2017), Provision of Essential and Lifesaving Educational services to off and in- Camp IDPs of FATA (CERF_UNESCO –January2014-June 2014), Landmines and UXOs Risk Awareness Program for Children and teachers of FATA. MRE (CERF-UNESCO, 2014), Active Citizens Program KP/FATA (British Council 2013-14), Peace, Human Rights and Disaster Management Education Program, Baluchistan (UNESCO, 2014), Pakistan Election Monitoring KP (GHRD 2013), Peace & Human Rights Education KP (UNESCO- 2013), Need for Change-Advocacy for Curriculum review (Actionaid 2012), Peace and Nonviolent Education Program KP (Save the Children 2011-12).
