As a practitioner who is deeply sensitized to work with marginalized and vulnerable groups and individuals, she worked directly with victims of human trafficking, street children, female prisoners, juvenile delinquents, refugees and migrants, people with disabilities, and children placed in social welfare institutions. In 2018, Tanja founded the organization Gata – Civil AntiTrafficking Association. 

Tanja has a master\’s degree in Special Education from the University of Belgrade, Serbia. Her research work and master\’s thesis focused on Social Competence of Children and Youth placed in Social Welfare Institution.
