Ms. Susy Katipana has a keen understanding of community development processes with more than 30 years experience facilitating community development projects and supporting community organizations. Susy is the Founder, Owner and former head of Womintra Foundation/ Womintra Citra Mandiri Company for the past 17 years. Womintra is an NGO that coordinates the activities of various local/National/an International NGOs involved in development programs. She has been involved as a Community Participation Adviser on numerous International projects including the Integrated Health Planning Project (AusAID), the NTT Water Supply and Sanitation Project (AusAID), and the Community Empowerment Program (JICA). This experience has included implementing projects, completing activities to schedules, monitoring and evaluating activities and preparing and submitting reports. Susy is well qualified for the role of Community Participation Adviser and community empowerment, holds a Maternal and Child Health Care Degree with a minor specialization in Community Health and Development and a Doctorate of Community Development with Honours from Hawaii University. Susy has extensive experience in the training and support of Government of Indonesia staffs and community leaders at village levels in the participatory planning process.
