MASSIMO TROMBIN

Mr. Trombin is an Italian national, living in Brazil with his wife and 3 of their 5 children’s, all born in different locations around the world. 

Today Mr. Trombin is the CEO of the Global Peace Foundation, Brazil chapter. 

In its 40 years of activity, he has been responsible for the development and implementations of hundreds of projects in over 60 countries; including relief effort in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina during the Balkan conflicts, the rehabilitation of rebels in North of Uganda, youth and  service development in Africa, Philippines and East Europe, and social entrepreneurship in Paraguay and Brazil. 

Currently working in articulating cooperation’s between the 1st, 2nd and 3rd sectors in defining public policies in relations to the SDGs, refugees/immigrant policy  and crime prevention/social security analysis.  With that base, Mr. Trombin started recently, the Brazil Commodity Initiative, a trade program that is a project to sell Brazilian products, in order to reinforce local development and educational activities, through private funds.

Mr. Trombin has also developed numerous presentations and training manuals for schools and community organizations, on the value of volunteerism, service work and development.
