The Forager Project was created by a father and stepson who share a passion for organic, plant-based food. Each brought the best of their generational perspective. Stephen, an experienced food professional, disillusioned when reading ingredient panels that didn’t jibe with the front label, and JC, a young entrepreneur who couldn’t find the honest food he craved at stores.
The two started Forager Project with pressed vegetable juice and then quickly added nut-based drinks. The company’s flagship ingredient is the cashew, Vietnam’s largest export product. The work is done from the corporate headquarters in San Francisco and a factory in Indio, California, to the farms and processors in Vietnam. All of Forager Project’s products are organic and made simply from organic nuts, seeds, ancient grains, and vegetables.
