Sound Foundation is a UK-registered charity that believes in the power of music to change lives. For six years Sound Foundation worked in Uganda to give children and youth access to music education and industry opportunities respectively. Hundreds of children and families benefited from our support.
Sound Foundation is now exploring ways of promoting music as a means of helping to resolve conflict. We believe that music can help to transcend conflict divides. It can bring people together across cultures and generations. It transcends language. We are therefore considering ways in which we can help to promote music performance and listening to help resolve conflict.
