Nest evaluates every business with a critical eye for strong leadership, scalability, stage of growth and invested interest in social change. Their programs include business and leadership training, design mentorship, construction of new facilities, English language classes, access to upgraded equipment, marketing, and more. Nest monitors demographic indicators including housing, food security and education; business indicators such as employment numbers, profit and sales trends; and social indicators like safe working conditions, fair wages and gender equality. Nest also grants artisans market access via partnerships with noteworthy brands including Maiyet, Calypso and ABC Carpet. Finally, Nest works with NGOs to gain provision of complimentary services such as clean water and medical care.
