Natalia Oberti Noguera is the Founder and CEO of Pipeline Fund, a social venture startup whose mission is to ensure that every woman achieves her potential as an innovator. According to her ^”it would be so powerful to show women philanthropists that they can use their money in a positive way in supporting women-led social ventures by becoming angel investors.”^ Indeed, in 2012, only 22% of U.S. angel investors were women and only 5% were minorities, according to the Center for Venture Research at the University of New Hampshire. Pipeline Fellowship, an angel investing bootcamp for women, works at the same time to increase diversity in the U.S. angel investing community but also creates capital for women social entrepreneurs. Since launching its first angel investing bootcamp in April 2011, Pipeline Fellowship has trained dozens of women, who have committed more than US$350k in investment, and has expanded from New York City to Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington, D.C. Pipeline Fellowship offers a six-month angel investing bootcamp for women and the time commitment is approximately two full days per month during the six months.
